Marco von Antal, Associate

Called to the bar in British Columbia in 2002, Marco has been practicing motor vehicle accident litigation since. He has acted for both insurance companies and plaintiffs in the conduct of personal injury claims. He has successfully represented clients in cases ranging from brain injuries, to chronic pain, to soft tissue injuries. He has had the opportunity to practice both as inside and outside counsel for the Insurance Corporation of British Columbia, and began doing so in 2004. He also enjoys dealing with commercial litigation matters, and has been involved in a number of complex construction disputes.

Marco has appeared at all levels of court in British Columbia. He has obtained significant results for his clients at trial, and strives to provide effective results be it by way of trial or settlement.

Marco is an instructor in the Continuing Education Department at Vancouver Community College where he teaches courses for legal support staff in the areas of tort law, contract law and Canadian legal process.

Marco is fluent in Italian, German and Spanish, and conversant in French. He provides legal services for those seeking assistance through the Italian and German consulates in Vancouver.

Away from the law, Marco is most likely to be found on a local ski hill in the winter, riding his motorcycle in the summer, or pursing his passion for playing guitar.
